Tartiib is a focus and screen-time application that helps users block distracting apps and optionally complete beneficial activities before unlocking them.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights.

A. Account Information
Tartiib uses anonymous authentication to create a secure account identifier.
We do not require:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
Your account is identified by a randomly generated ID.
Purpose:
- Save your sessions and rules
- Restore your data if the app is reinstalled
- Determine feature access (free or premium)
B. Focus & Usage Data (Stored in Your Account)
We store:
- Focus sessions you create
- Blocking rules you configure
- Completion history
- Premium entitlement status
- Optional habits and credit activity (if used)
Purpose:
- Enable syncing across your devices
- Restore your data
- Provide in-app history
C. Screen Time & Blocking Information (Stored on Device)
When you grant Screen Time permission:
- Selected blocked apps
- Blocking state
- Scheduled enforcement windows
This data remains on your device and is not shared with third parties.
We do not receive detailed app usage logs from Apple.
D. Quran & Religious Content
- Quran text is included within the app.
- Downloaded audio files are stored locally on your device.
- Reading progress and bookmarks remain on your device.
- We do not upload your Quran reading activity.
E. Notifications
If enabled, we may send local notifications related to:
- Session reminders
- Scheduled blocking
- Good Deed First reminders
These are managed by iOS and are not used for marketing.
F. Premium Features
Tartiib may offer optional premium features in the future. If premium features are introduced, payment processing will be handled through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not directly collect payment information.
3. What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Personal identity information
- Contacts
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers
- Cross-app tracking data
- Detailed app usage logs
- Messages or personal files
We do not sell or rent your data.

We use your information to:
- Operate focus sessions
- Enforce blocking rules
- Sync your account data
- Enable premium features
- Improve app stability and functionality
We do not use your data for advertising profiling.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored:
- Securely in cloud infrastructure (for account-related data)
- Locally on your device (for blocking state and Quran downloads)
Reasonable security measures are implemented to protect data.
6. Data Retention
- We retain your account data while your account exists.
- You may delete your account at any time within the app.
- Deleting your account permanently removes your account data from our systems.
7. Account Deletion
You can delete your account in Settings.
Upon deletion:
- Your account and associated data are permanently removed.
- This action cannot be reversed.
- Device-only data may remain until the app is removed from the device.
8. Children's Privacy
Tartiib does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us for removal.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will reflect a revised effective date.
